Easter is coming in a hurry this year! I love Easter. Probably for all the obvious reasons. It is the greatest day in history, after all! If Christ had not followed God's plan and died only to rise again, I wouldn't be the person I am today or have the life that I do. That is something to celebrate! Christmas Countdown Chain Printable {With Scripture References}

Who doesn't love a good countdown chain?! My kids love putting them together and tearing them up every day. I'm not sure they quite get the "counting down" part yet, but it will come soon. Instead of just doing our usual construction paper chain, I wanted something a little more cute-sy this season. I decided to make up some prints on the computer with the date and a scripture reference to go with it. I am planning on having the girls rip one off each day and then we will look up the verse together and read it out loud! I got the verse list from this doc.

I Belong with You {Master Bedroom Prints}

I love how song lyrics can so often say what I want to say, but even better. Somehow they are way more eloquent than what I could ever make them! Apparently I've recently become obsessed with displaying lyrics in my home. I have a You Are My Sunshine pillow in my living room, and before we moved last winter, I made up some prints for my girls' room with songs we sing to them. I guess I am quickly looking to fill every room in my house with lyrics, because I've decided on some new song lyrics for our bedroom now. I have only heard this song while shopping in stores, so I actually don't even know all the lyrics, but it caught my ear and I just thought it was the cutest little saying. So naturally, I thought it needed to be displayed in our little haven. I'm slowly getting our bedroom to just how I want it to be. It's a process, and this room always gets pushed to the back burner no matter how much I try to prioritize it (we spend less time in our bedroom than any other room...). It's coming along and this little addition helped, I think!  During the "design process" I couldn't just stop at one so I made all three so I could stare at them for awhile and decide which one I want in our room. Welcome to the Neighborhood {Free Printable}

In April, we moved into a new neighborhood. We are in the tail end of homes in this neighborhood, so some people have already been here 2 or 3 years, but there are still homes being built. Up until this past weekend, we've been the newest neighbors. Right next door, a town home was just completed, so we'll have TWO sets of new neighbors! One moved in, so I wanted to take a little welcome gift.

 It kind of makes me sad that people aren't as "neighborly" as they used to be, so we have been purposing to really get to know our neighbors. It just makes living in a neighborhood so much better, doesn't it?! Knowing you have people you can borrow a cup of sugar from, or who will keep an eye on your house and let you know if something is off. I love the community aspect!  Back to the point. We had met our new neighbor once when she came by to do the final walk through so we knew she was moving in with her two kids. I want to make her dinner, because I know how stressful moving is, let alone moving with two young kids! I love adding little touches to things, so I made up this printable to stick on the casserole.

I thought this would be cute to add to a casserole, or even just a plate of cookies. I'm sure if you search Pinterest you could find all kinds of cute new neighbor gifts. I left the bottom blank so you can write in your own names, or even throw your house number on there if you are just dropping something on the porch.
